The essence of the Community Patent Review (CPR) project is to provide the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) with material that may be helpful to their examiners in making determinations of patentability for a patent application under review. The following links lead to information that may be helpful to peers participating in this process who require a better understanding of patent concepts underlying the CPR.

Introductory Q's and A's providing high-level summary information about important concepts

Test Questions
A short series of questions designed to help a reviewer evaluate his or her mastery of important concepts. The first 5 questions are directed to very basic concepts,; the next five are directed to more complex concepts.

A glossary of patent-related terms used elsewhere in the tutorial materials. (Links are also provided to these definitions from other sections referencing them.)
